we are going to start running them on our cars this year and would like some info from you racers. by putting these on the cars we hope this will clear up a lot of confusion on restarts and scoring.

are you calling us IDIOTS!!! WELL NOW THATS DEBATABLE SOMETIMES, IT DEPENDS ON WHO YOU TALK TOO. HA HA HA HA!!!!! TRUST ME!!! we know what were doing. its just the initial cost of 30-35 thousand $$$$$$$ but that is going to be covered by the racers by them buying the units at the beginning of the year and using them the entire season. the track will pay for everything else.

I'm curious to know what this electronic set up is going to cost the racer to put in their car so they can race at your track? And with this increase in cost to race, how much is the purse going to increase to the racer?

the cost is about 150-175 dollars and all of the racers we talked to didnt have a problem with the cost. we are going to buy enough for 5 classes of cars that at some point in the season can reach almost a 140 cars. thats alot for a 1/5 mile. but on average we get about 115-120 cars. the purse we have is 100 for first and i believe drops 6-7 dollars every place after that. i aint sure exactly. but they said having the assurance of the accuracy of it will offset the cost somewhat. thanks for the reply

Techmaster35,one more question, what is the"backup"system for the track going to be?The same "scorers"that the little "transmitters" are supposed to replace, when ever I have protested a finishing posotion, the track has always told me that their scorers "never" make mistakes, why I was even "showed" once how I was lapped 5 times in 3 laps so a car that was in the pits for 5 laps could finish ahead of me,I was racing and not parked in the infield or pits,I lost the protest, everyone there knew I got got shafted and said so,the cheif scorer said "I am rite you all are wrong, and thats that",and walked back in his office and locked his door.the driver of the car that got "set up" said he knew it was'nt rite but the decision was not his to make,I asked him "if you know you were behind me then why don't you swap payoff money with me,and make it rite"his reply was "I got the money I deserved so did you" and got in his truck and left!!I guess I'm one of those complainers you mentioned...

first of all i didnt say anything about anybody complaining about anything. the back up system will be the same people the track has used for the past seven years. we tell the drivers that if there is a protest that they should say something to us about it before pay off. no ones perfect especially us. i have made mistakes and so have everybody else at the track. if there is a protest we will review the tape of the race that is taken from the announcers booth. it sounds like the head scorer and the other racer are jerks and i agree with you you should have switched prize money with him. it was a dirty trick. if our scorers make mistakes and the problem is brought to our attention and there is reasonable proof to back it up we will deal with it. if you are mad at me for something i wrote please dont be offended by it. i apoligize for any trouble i have caused.

you can pay just 10$ a night if you just come for one race. but if your a regular everyniter then it is cheaper to buy one. sorry about that AJ wont happen again. i love this web site, it lets me as a tech inspector know what the racers want to see at the track and what they dont want to see. thats why i post topics like the one about running the trucks with the cars and this one also. you and jammin do a good job. did either of you guys start this website.
