The Four Cylinder Racing Alliance is a new organization that has the goal of establishing uniform 4 Cylinder class rules for circle track racing throughout the nation. The organization is just begining to changing from an idea to a reality. Right now we are trying to finalize our Pro 4, Modified 4 and Stock 4 class rules and would appreciate any input. The FCRA is also looking for any tracks that would be interested in adopting our rules and thus becoming FCRA sanctioned. To help toward the organization's goals we will also be promoting the Four Cylinder All Star Tour (FAST). This series will be competing throughout the Southeast and will put the best 4 cylinder drivers available up against each other under the rules of the FCRA's Modified 4 class. We are currently looking for sponsors, tracks, and competitors for this series. For more information on any of this please check out the official website http://fastracing.8k.com/. I apologize ahead of time for the website; it is still new and may have some flaws. Any advice, input or assistance in any area of our plan would be much appreciated. Feel free to either post here or on our message board, which can be found at the website, or contact me personal at mod4_28x@hotmail.com. Thank you.

AJ,

Your rules do seem pretty stock. It may make everything a little bit more interesting if you had rules more like the FCRA Stock 4 rules, which can be found at http://fastracing.8k.com/rules.htm#Stock . Feel free to take these rules to your promoter. I could not find any contact information at the website you provided. I am waiting until my organization's rules are completely finalized before I start actively contacting tracks, but I am gathering the necessary information now. It would be preferable if you could get me an e-mail address, as I will be sending out a mass e-mail to as many tracks as possible. Thank you, and I look forward to your future input.

The rules for all classes have been updated. This includes the Pro 4 class. Most of these changes are minor, but worth checking out. They can be found at http://fastracing.8k.com/rules.htm . The Stock 4 and Modified 4 rules are close to being finalized, but input is still welcome.

The Four Cylinder All Star Tour will be running on dirt tracks in NC, SC, TN, GA, and AL this upcoming year. The Four Cylinder Racing Alliance is open to any track that is interesting in adoopting at least of our classes rules. There is no fee to become a sanctioned a track. The benefits include publicity on our website and in our publications. If you know of any tracks that are interested, please have them contact me. I truly believe that this is the future of four cylinder racing.
