First of all, I do not want to debate crate engine LateModel racing......
I am just looking for feedback from those who have run the series or events.

We have run the Fastrak Series. While I will not go into any info on the series the racing was great, we had tracks where we started to B main in 14th place and transfered with a 2nd place finish, started the feature dead last (24th) and finished 10th. We have run less than 2 feet from the other cars for 30 laps and didn't have a dent on the car. They started 30 cars on a 1/2 mile track and 28 finished and there was not 1 yellow. they started 22 cars on a 1/4 mile track and there were only 3 yellows, only 1 was a crash.
There is passing, you can carry the left front all day if you want to and the people we ran with were like no others. We broke a part on our car before the feature and someone took it off of there car so we could make the feature.
It was a Great Experience Overall.

I am not sure how old this question is but I helped with fastrak many times in 2005 from Eldora,Ohio to Oglethorpe Georgia on to Screven Georgia, straight on up to Bullsgap Tenn. then over to Tyler West Virginia and each race was exciting and very competative with track speeds close to that of the Super Late-Models at each an every track! Surprisingly the GM 602 crate engine at $2995 with its stock looking heads and solid lift cam this motor was strong through all the events! The 604 was really different with the aluminum heads and over 425 hsp under the tech.officials examinations the 604 GM Crate motor if left as is without trying to cheat them which is very difficult to do anyway this $5400 motor is a excellent choice for the BUDGET Racers!that still like to go FAST Crate Motors can help save our motorsport, if everyone could just understand that having a Big expensive $25000 dollar motor is not helping our Local weekend tracks afford to pay the equivalent purses. The Crate Motors may not be the answer but they sure help cut the cost! and add to the challenge of skillful driving and setting up the Chassis to go thru the corners without letting up off the throttle at all two feet from the next car Lap after Lap!
