just wanted to know whats the carb and cubic in motor of choice in late models on 1/4 - 3/8 tracks

You name it, it's out there. BoLaws, Willy's, etc. There is a new Raptor carb that I am considering. Some have said its the most responsive carb they have ever tried.

i prefer a small cubic inch engine on the short tracks i run a 355 on the short ones.seems to wind up alot faster!! i also run an A.P.D. alky 750 on both my big and small motors.When i switched to his carbs,it felt like whole new motors.great response off the corners!

i like the 383 as the best all around motor.it winds up quick and pulls hard down the strait aways.our 383 with dart heads and roller cam outpulls 414 and good 434 on a 1/3 mile track..we use a big BG carb on our motor,it has exellent throttle response..
