Hey Biz, we have a couple money sponsors, free gatorade, and some Lucas oil but what is the best way to go about picking up product sponsors ie...Afco, American Racer etc....?

Just get to talking to them if you ever see them at the races. Once you get to know one or two product guys and they start helping you and they see that you will help them, get there product out. Then they introduce you to the next guy....Also you gotta go to the PRI show!!

Steve, I have a new crew chief (starting the 05' season) who comes with 10yrs Cup experience....over the wall and quite a bit of fabrication, were just starting to contact some of the people he's met over the years (Lucas & Gatorade jumped right on), he has an outlet to get "used" dry sump pumps but there is no guarantee they didn't come off something that was grenaded. Should I condiser things like this and just have them gone through? Cranks, pistons etc...will not do me any good because we run under IMCA late model rules. Thanks!

GO 24,

I'd collect anything that you can come accross from these sources, and sell it. Might be a good way to finance a race season ;-)

bizkit,

Been doing ok man! Working like mad, and racing when it's not raining....LOL! What this I hear about you landing on your head??

Twice in three week's is rough! I wonder what the odds on that happening in a late model are??

Yah he brought it in on Saturday. I think I'll have a chance to get it apart by Friday, now that it look's like we will be rained out for the Clash race Friday.

Yea I got up with them this year. What part of the country do you run at? Looks like yours is a 98 or older with it having the down tubes in the front

We run in Florida. All 5 of the cars have down tubes even the 2004, I think they requested them. We got ours from the guy who bought it new, it is a 2001. How do you like them so far? Ours seems a little finicky on the rear and seems to like the right rear clamped with a three peice birdcage and the right rear on 4 link. We tried the left on clamp and on 4 link with the right a Z-link but it was not as ast through the corner.

I really like it so far, mine is based of a Rocket, Tony and those guys build a really good safe car, believe me I've tested that this season. I've not ran anything but standard 4bar on both sides all season, I've had fair success, 4 wins 8 2nds, 15 top 5's
