I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the guys running two shocks and two springs on the rr. one has compression and no rebound and the other has rebound and no compression. they also are splitting the spring, like if your running a 200 then you would run a 100 on each. one in front of rearend and on behind.

When we use this type of setup, it is to completely separate the entry/exit characteristics of the RR spring. The front shock and spring (150#) are mounted on the birdcage and the rear spring (75#) is mounted on a clamp bracket on a dummy shock.

What are some of the drawbacks? I would assume the benifit is increased forward bite along with better adjustability? What type of track do you use it on?
