I was at a late model race last week and the car that won had a very strange set up. The track was very tacky and all the cars were very hooked up. The car that won had a standard 4 bar suspension but instead of one or two axle dampers on top of the rear end he took off the shocks and replaced them with a solid radius rod. I would have thought that this would make the car extremely loose and not have any forward bite, but for whatever reason it worked very well. He proved it by winning the race. Any explanations???

He was probaly running a solid pull bar. was there a fifth coil on the torque arm? (I'll bet there wasn't)
