Possibly your fuel pump is not large enough or your filter is plugged and not letting enough fuel through to maintain pressure.

There are many possibilities here, sorry if some of them are obvious.

Here are a few ideas:

*A bad fuel pump.

*Not enough back pressure, install a smaller jet in the regulator.

*Make sure the fuel filter is installed in the correct direction (The 'O' goes toward the Outlet with spring at the other end).

*Check your fuel cell pickup tube for cracks or leaks.

*Plugged up fuel cell vent tube.

*Collapsing fuel line.

*Too small of a fuel line.

*Loose fitting somewhere on the fuel line.

*Electrical problem (bad distributor, bad starter switch, poor ground)

*If you are running a mechanical pump, you could have a bad cam lobe that pushes the rod.

Good luck!
