Our track limits tires to D55 or EC2 American racer, I am running the EC2's and having very good luck with them, but seems like more and more are running the D55's I noticed the tire patch is alot wider on the D55, but seems like you have to build alot of heat in the D55 before they start to work.

I've ran the ECs for the last two years. They seem to work really well. I like having the ability to get 5 inches of stagger and run the differnt compounds. I met up with a couple of guys at one of the local tracks who were running the 55s. They seemed to have a slight advantage.

RACEDR6,Sorry for the delay.Ive been in FL.
for speedweeks and just getting caught up on things.Man if you like the EC 2,then you need to run the MD 56.That EC is a spec. tire.Which track do you run at? Your running a spec. tire vs an open comp tire.Let me know were you run and we'll see if we can't get our 56 in.If I can help you in any way you can e-mail me at bk4racingtires@aol.com
Thanks BRIAN KEY

Sorry about the delay. I run at Butler co. motospots park in Greenville AL www.BCMPS.com.The E-C is what we have to run. I went to Baker Fl. where it's kind of a proving grounds. Some felas from Panama City were there with the wider tires. I ran second and third two times to them. This year is a different story at BCMSP. The owner opened the class up to limited late model. I got an old TNT chassis and modified it to a 4 bar. I have never fooled with any other kind of tires up untill this point. I could really use some advice so I'll be ready when the out of towners come. Thanks.
