Whats the rule of thumb regarding panhard bars (J-Bar solid). I was told to take 10% of the total bar length, and that gave you your split from end to end. Example: 20 inch bar, 10% of is 2 inches. Thus frame side mounting position would be 2 inches higher than inside mount. Was also told that anytime I move outside position, to also move inside position the same amount as well. Is this true? Also what indicates a need to relocate panhard bar position as related to cars handling? And what is a good starting point? The car I'm running is a 1999 Rayburn with stock front clip, swingarm rear. My panhard bar mounts to right side of car.

We run 350 pounds bite. Track is dry/slick. So your suggesting a higher angle for right side mount to achieve effectiveness? Thanks for the help.

Whats Rayburns thinking on a right side mount anyways? I'm the only Rayburn at my track. There are several other swingarm cars there, but they all have left side mounts.

I dont know what Rayburn's thinking is, but I see the logic in what it is trying to accomplish, but I am not sure it is the best scenario to work with.
