Anybody have any experience using an old school bus as a Hauler? I remember these being used some years ago, but never got the chance to look at one up close.
I've been kicking this idea around in my head for some time, primarily because you can buy used buses cheaper than you can buy used pickups here these days.
I'd appreciate any input.Thanks

they work good if ya got long enuff ramps to get your car up on it just cut down the rear end to a flat bed and use the front as a camper.the best ones to find would be a chev or ford gas or deisel gas would be cheaper tho with a standerd trans.if ya need more ideas go to a truck pull them guys still use them

Thanks for the suggestions.
I've never been to a truck pull, so I've never seen those rigs.

The chevys are usually higher but easier to get parts for.I'd stay away from the internationals they are really hard to get parts for, some years used several different types of ignition.

the one we had was an old ford it was still bus back to like the 6th row of seats then we had about 2 rows worth of storage shelving and the car ramps was set at about a 45* angle and had a whench to pull the car up
