Does anyone tow race car with a class c motorhome. I bought a 78 Dodge 23 foot motorhome, with the intention of towing with it. On the way home from my first trip with it the rear frame broke. It was made out of c channel and just **** welded to the van frame. I am planning on rebuilding it using rectangle tubing bolted and welded to the van frame. Does this sound feasible? Any ideas?

we used to tow ours with a 70 dodge moterhome with a 413 in it and it did a good job just a little slugish in the hills just remember that when you build the hitch it needs to support weight as well as tow it

i used to build motorhomes your idea sounds good we used c channle on our 30fters to finish the frame out but we used heavy stuff and welded it good just make sure you overlap it and weld it on instead of a buttweld
