Im running a street stock class and building a 358 for this season. Advantages to running a smaller motor is a weight break and you can run any intake except tunnel ram. Now Im running a solid lift cam with vortec heads, 53cc, 2.02, 1.6 valves. How crazy can I get with the intake. Whats a good recomendation without overdoing it but taking full advantage of it. Thanks

Don't run an Intake with too big of a plennum area, it'll kill your bottom end throttle respose. I went from a Weiand 7547 (open plane, low rise) to an Edelbrock Victor Jr. (open plane, high rise) and wasn't happy with the performance. The high rise and big plennum must be designed for high rpm (above 6500)and seriously modified heads.
