Is anyone planning on beefing up their engine program in either the IMCA Mod or Stock car class now that the swap rule is out there. In the past we always tried to have three engines available. Now I think a guy could have one really good engine and a spare and he would be good to go. I know that we are going to be less afraid to run our "good" engine all the time now.

I love it - we wont' spend a dime more on the motors we run and I have no problem pulling my mill when I know the dude that just claimed it will be pulling one for me at the same time. Finally a swap rule. I think is perfect.

i wouldn't be spend'n any more money most times they are gonna deside they want to claim before that nite and put a time bomb in there and about all you get is a block, pan, intake and valve covers that worth keep'n i know everytime somebody i have known that planned on clain'n put a 305 or junkyard smoker in that nite and just ran one lap in the heat and just hard enough to not get lapped in the main. i've even seen two guys want to bet that a straight 6 couldn't stay on the same lap if it did the loser was going to pay the claim price if they didn't go for the swap
