On a new engine while priming the oil system with a drill and priming shaft I have oil on every rocker on the left (driver) side but not a drop on the right. Any idea what is going on. Never had this to happen before.

one of the plugs at either end of the block (near camshaft) may be screwed in (or pressed in) too far.
maybe debris stuck in the main feed gallery for that bank.
maybe way too much assembly lube on either end of the push rods (though unlikely).
thats just a few things that come to mind.

I tried the rotating the crank but still nothing. Just seemed odd that one whole side is not getting oil. I thought about it being blocked some way, but didn't really feel like that was it unless I missed something.

What type of priming shaft are you using? The dist.seals the oil galley on the right side.If your using a straight shaft,no oil can get to that side.

That was it. My brother talked to a engine shop today and they told him the same thing. We were using a straight shaft. We now have oil.
