Some machinest say they need the pistons.Mine says he needs to know forged, cast or hypers and size. For the machining part. For the ordering piston size and any dome if ya want.I am confused if you are ordering a rotating assembly then you get the rods and crank.Unless you are just ordering a piston kit.

I was told it is best to get the kit, Then take your stuff to the machine shop. Every persone i talked to wanted the pistones so they could fit them to each hole. The reasone they say is that not all the pistons are exactly the same size.

Buy all of your parts and then have the machine work done. Pistons can vary .001-.003 in size. If you just take them one piston and they finish hone each cylinder to just tha tone piston, you'll have problems.

A machine shop here in town had a guy working for them for a while that said "30 is 30 over, I don't need any pistons"

Needless to say anyone that had work done there stuck pistons and broke parts.

Even better, order it through the shop so if something is wrong you don't have to wait extra days and be ouit shipping 3 mor times to get good part's.
