is the eagle i beam SIR bushed rod with lightweight cap srew desgin a good rod to run in a dirt car motor.
An what does it mean by bushed rod
An what does the 5140 steel mean is this good.
found these rods on ebay and it say's they are new
i need a good stock looking rod

A bushed rod uses a full floating piston pin, not a press fit.
5140 is a grade of steel better tensile than say a 4140 0r 4340
as far as will they work depends on how fast you wanna spin the motor. Of the offshore parts Eagle is supposed to be the best. Our engine builder uses a ton of he stuff and says it is good. He also told us Scat is pretty sketchy stuff. But the golden rule is BALANCING!!!!! get it balanced and it will run faster and last longer
