OK, what i need to know is what to use for an oil pump and pan setup? I don't want to start the debate over if you need a hi volume pump or not or the pan debate. I feel I need it, already cooked one motor and not looking to do it twice! Metric Car and sbc. Need real working setup info. Thanks Guys!!!

Any one of the first 3 under the circle track section will do the job. Just depends on the rules and depth of your wallet.

i would at least go with the 1087 pan. we had problems with oil pressure in the corners on banked high speed tracks with the 1086. the 1086 is not a right side pickup..the 1087 is. if you want the best get the 1092. VERY nice pan.

we run the #31504 pan with #18770 (melling M99HV)pump #18305 pick up. run that set up on all our engines and never had an oiling problem. we was like you we fought it till we switch to that set up. well worth the money. our one pan got wacked hard in the right front corner and put a big dent it(hit and burried tire) doesn't leak of effect performance. if was any other pan it probly would of ripped it off the engine.

Thanks guys, I Have looked into the trick pans, and boy they ain't cheap up here (Canada) I'm still going to look around. It's too bad some of the decent speed shop's won't sell up here cause of all the shipping hassles. Oh well!
