Can a machine shop change 202 valves back to 194's?
Sorry for hogging in, but I felt like my Q might just fit this thread too.

Xtreme - no.

Eljojo - yes, sort of. You don't really change them back - the cut for the 2.02s will still be there, but the 1.94s can be made to work.

I HAVE 49cc HEADS TO TRADE OR SALE AND THE 2.02 POCKETS CAN BE CANGED BACK TO ORIGINAL AT YOUR LOCAL MACHINE SHOP WITH SEAT REPLACEMENTS.

mmmmm, in the old days, to get around a "straight plug only" rule, I had set of Phase 1 Bowties I had changed to straight plug design, so yes it can be done....

A threaded iron plug is screwed into the existing plug hole and machined down then a new hole is drilled and tapped for straight plugs. At todays prices for machine work you'll probably be better off selling your heads and buying ones with straight plugs.
