We did this year and part of last year on a 1/4 mile dirt track we won several races and the points but , we will build a 383 or 406 for next year . WE ran okay but if we would of had a bigger motor we would have won more races i think. May have worked better on a larger track . We are limited to a 2bbl carb stock also.That might of hurt us two.

yeah if your class allows a 4bbl your better off, track size not so much cuz you can turn higher r's if needed with a gear change, but trying to feed a motor spinning 7500 rpm out of a stock 2 barrel is trying to fit "king kong in a 14 year old virgin"

very fast motor on a 5/8 mile track, in my experience don't half fill it and keep it no more than 40 over
