My uncle who used to run a mod told me that to reduce rotating weight, i should get a nylon/plastic cooling fan. That was in his wissota mod. I am running a ford bomber with a 9.5:1 compression rule. I was wondering if it worth the extra 20 bucks to buy the plastic fan or if i should keep my stock metal one, or just buy a racing fan such as a moroso. Any suggestions/hints would really help. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have had good luck with the 6 blade fan alot of places sell. Mine are steel hubs with aluminum fins. Then seem not to flexbadly, car holds temp good, and a little lighter than the steel ones.
