I am new to the ministocks. I was wondering what the best carb to run is. I was told the holley 500cfm. But our engines are suppose to be stock. Is the progressive 2barrel worth trying. That came out stock on the pintos?

For a 2.3, the carb you should most commonly run WOULD be the progressive 2bbl, such as the ones found on early Mustangs, Pinto's etc.
An even better choice is a Weber 32/36, or one of the larger Webers. They roughly resemble the OEM Holley (not the 4412, 500cfm).
The 4412 is a very commonly used carb, but it's honestly too much carb for most 4cyl motors unless it's a VERY heavily modified motor turning a ton of rpms. It's smaller "brother" the 7448 350cfm 2bbl isn't too bad, but either of those two require modifications due to pullover problems that 4cyl motors always have.
If you need further help finding a carb, just give us a shout.
