Just built a 396 Ford with a Victor JR intake and today I went to order a MSD 351 Billet Distributer and the guy told me that his computer showed a note that it would not fit with the Victor Intake. I need help, whats everyone running? Thanks

MSD makes twodifferent dist., You can get one with a smaller top to clear the Victor intake. Just put a 374 together last week with the same intake.

There is no clearance problems at all when using a 8.2 block....only the 9.5

And by the way, I have a tip for 347 guys. Get the new Parker Funnel Web intake for your high rev racer....its only 169.00 off Ebay.....Ran one some this summer, and seems to be much better than Victor jrs. More throttle response and driveabilty. 7 inches tall. Anyone dynoed and know the difference?

you can use a stock duraspark or a msd 8578. I went the cheaper route with the duraspark and a msd box.
