we haven't been running them...but i have ran one for the last three shows.

I am having a carb problem on start up?!

I think...it always seems to flood on start!

it has popped up the carb a time or two also.

I heard that it will pop the power valve every time?

Yes, its a good chance if its a Holley that it did.

Easy to change it tho.

I have heard you can buy power valves that are designed not do that as easy through Holley...

The newer holley 4412 carbs have power valve protection built-in. You can buy a kit to protect the PV in the older carbs.

When you switched from the plugged PV to a functioning PV, how many jet sizes did you reduce? You may still be jetted too rich.

i fixed it...

the pick up coil was going bad.

and the tach was also causing a high rpm limiter.

stalled at 5200.
