I was running a 350sbc and I blew it up,cracked two cylinder walls.I called around the junkyards and couldn't find one.So I got a 307 sbc,it not what I wanted but, it will have to do.For the rest of the season.I need a cam, I was told that a 307 would run fine if I had the right cam.The track I race at,is 1/3mile clay-blanked track.Car is 75camaro,with a 9" rearend with 4-11 gears. The 350 was running rpm around 5500to5800.I was running fine with that.But307 I think I need to run about 6500 to7000rpm.Because of the stroke being shorter.but not to sure.I have already went through the 307eng.I will use the heads that came off the 350.They are good double humped head.carb is 750 holly. When off season gets here I'm going to buy a 355sbc short block from jr motorsports. PLEASE HELP ME NEED TO GET BACK ON THE TRACK. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. RACE ON AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL
