That much blowby on a new engine is because the rings have not seated properly. Was the bore deck honed? What type of rings? You should use moly rings at the least with alky.

To me if its really runny alky could be getting in your oil from whats been said very common problem. And if its the first night on the motor did you change it after you broke it in? A lot of people "complain" about the cam lube making the oil all dirty and nasty. read your plugs some it sounds like. Blow by is normal but maybe not a quart. try stuffing a sock on the inside of the breather. to keep it from coming out. Maybe someone else can help you more.

Thanks for the info, will try the rag deal and just keep a better eye on the engine. For the record the engine had about 10 full race nights on it and i aquired it after 2 full nights but have not noticed any oil problems till last friday night.

Get away from the multi-grade oil. We had a alky mod that did the EXACT same thing when new. A long time racer at the track told us to junk the multi grade oil, so we borrowed 8 quarts of straight 50 valvoline from him and viola, problem solved. No more milkyness, no more blow by.
