does anybody else check seat pressure weekly. I cant afford not to. whats your take.

Yes you should check your spring's after every race, just as you should check valve lash after every race. Nothing like preventative maintenance to save $$$$$ in the long run. I'll bet your engine builder like's you nine finger! Weekly maintenance should always include valve lash, spring pressure. So your doing it right nine finger.

What spec do you guys look for when checking before you replace/rebuild/shim up? How much variance from start of build.

i run 130 on the seat will usually replace by 110.

Steve used to build profesionally got tired. married w/kids now. getting back into racing street stock, still build a few. blessed with nhra record holder as machinist. still have flow bench and grinders still love that aspect. I really like the aspect of you being an engine builder helping the guys on the forum, keep up the good work.
