if i put 3.00 strock crank in a 350 (sbc) block using bearing spacers am i going to have to have custom pistons using 5.7 rods?

1/2 the stroke = 1.5 plus rod 5.7 take that add and subtract from 9.025 deck height(stock)1.825 compression height piston.A350 piston has a height of 1.585.Atleast thats what I got any how.Check under a post I did in this section under cheap 383

I broght that post to the top for ya.Also I have gone to Keith black pistons web page and dug throught there pistons they give comp. heights.

What you're creating is a 302 Chevy. Those pistons are on Ebay all the time. Or you can use 5.94 rods out of a mid-90's 4.3 V8 Chevrolet and use a 350 piston.
