We have a 355 chevy. cast iron heads and manifold. 2 barrell. I noticed there is a hole in each corner of our heads that is filled with sealer. One of those plugs came out sat. night and spewed fluid everywhere?? I am wondering why it came out of that hole. Manifold or head or both?? Any help?????????????

Ok, maybe I didn't describe well enough. Does anyone know what four holes I am talking about. They are on each corner of the head. it is a threaded hole but all 4 have silicone in them acting like a plug I assume. If anyone can give me ideas I would appreciate it!!!

not sure what your talk'n about but unless it's 30* where you live right now get rid of the anti-freeze. anti freeze holds heat in pure water is the best for cooling

why not dig those plugs out and put in a proper plug. Cant cost much. But loose the antifreeze its slipperier than goose poop when it lays on the track and wont evaperate like straight water.
