I've got water in the oil on a rebuilt engine & I know where it came from. I need a little advice on how to clean it out without tearing it down again. Any help would be great! Thanks..

since oil floats on water might try dumping some cheap oil down each side of the head and let sit for a while then draining it out, just a thought ive never had to do this

Thanks I've heard a story about flushing the engine with diesel fuel. Not sure if this would hurt bearings. Also wondering if I prime the oil pump with diesel would it hurt anything else.

I wouldnt use diesel in the oil(im pretty sure it will eat the bearings)!!! Just drain the pan overnight after dumping a quart down each head...that should pull most of it out. then when you fill it back up make sure when you run it that you bring it up to atleast 180 so it will burn the rest out....check oil...might have to repeat.
