Why am i have such a big problem getting rockers to clear? I went with allum and had to clearance em...wich broke!! Now i have a set of steel crower rockers that people say will clear...but DONT What can i do hear dont really want to have and clearance another set..that will break!! I think they are 1.55 springs with .100 long valve small base circle roller cam and crane lifters..tried to change pushrod and it just rolls off the back or off the front...whats the fix hear???/

You probably do not have the correct rocker. You should use the Crower rocker with the backset trunnion. These rocker's have a backset trunnion that is set back .090" from stock location. These will clear 1.650" diameter spring's. These are made on big block bodies, so the rocker arm is phisically longer. Rocker ratio's remain the same, and you can get everything from 1.5 - 1.9 ratio's. These are only for 7/16 stud's however. When we are not allowed by rules to use shaft rocker's, these are the ones that we use. We have never had a clearance issue with them.

I dont think i got the right ones then....older set. I ended up using lash caps to get them to clear..I hope they work.
