last week I bent an exhaust valve, I found it when i did a compresion test. drivers side bank all read 150lbs #2=150lbs #4=130lbs #6=120lbs #8=0 after removing the head I had noticed a stream of carbon between 4 and 6 which i believe may explain the lower compresion values on those cylinders. the reason for that I think was my fault, I took a gaskent cleaning disk to that area trying to sand down a crack which turned out to be a scratch which i believe now caused a low spot on the deck, can this be fixed with epoxy? just to get a couple more races out of it,
if so what is the easiest way to do this, by the way it is a 400 small block bored 40 over.
