I am needing to know what cam I need to use for my pickup I pull with. 1990 Chevy 4x4 9.1 Throttle body Fuel Injection 383 with 3.42 gears. I have 2 used cams I have used in my race engines. 1 is .480/.494 lift - .228/.232 duration and the other is .450/.450 lift - .218/.218 duration. I sometimes drive this truck to go muddin or to town. Thanks.

I wouldnt use either. Computerized engines are a little more picky with their cams. I would think you will need a cam with a bit less duration, and a tighter LSA than a cam for your race car.

Perhaps something like 206-210* at .050" with a LSA of 114*. This would be for starters, your best bet would be to call Comp, Crane, or another manufacturer who deals with injected set-ups.
