After the 1st race of the year, the motor would die whenever we put it into gear, or idle at a stop, unless we two footed it riding the brake. Is becoming a real problem on yellow flags. Idle is at 1600-1800, runs fine in race and idles fine in Park. Just shift and it dies. Can't sneak it up on trailer, either. Nearly have to catapult. Any ideas?

Have you checked the timing to make sure nothing broke in the dist.?

Also, check and make sure you don't have a vacuum leak.

Outside of that, Could be a carb broblem.
Is it a holley, or quadra**** or what. Have you checked the plugs to see if they are fouled? Is it missing?

This sounds like a TC problem.
