Anyone know about the durability of a 350C w/ 400 crank and 6" rods and offset pin height to allow the long rods on the track. I know guys that are runnig that combo on staright tracks, but they only run 'em for 9 to 11 seconds at a time.
Looking for some input on 20 - 40 lap features. Thanx

that would be your typical 383 combo. Lots of guys running them and no problems with them if they are built right, just like any other combo.

Some sbc motors get as long as 6.350 or slightly longer rods. This is on short stroke motors, and VERY short pin height.

I have a 6" 383 that i use for a backup motor...pulls hard. The pins are up in the bottom ring lands.
