I bought a set of headers at a swap meet that I thought were standard SBC but the bolt pattern is 1/2" to wide. I was told these were Howe, they look just like Howe's Iron Lung header. What do these fit and is there an adaptor I can use to put these on stock 23* SBC heads?
Thanks, Ken

Could be for 23 degree spread port head's, or 18 degree head's. Is the space between the center two exhaust port's a 1/2" too wide as well?

Steve, the bolt spacing between the two middle tubes is 4 5/8" and between the front and back tubes its 2 1/2" I thought spread port was 7 bolt. Is there any header company that has bolt pattern diagrams online?
Thanks, Ken

Schoenfelds catalog, that you can download online, shows different header flanges. Maybe you can figure it out from one of those pics.
