What is the minimum clearance needed at the piston bottom and the crank throw ?? I have a small spot on 1 and 2 that touch cause the piston has a raised edge on the inner part at the pin boss. need to know how much to take out...

I'd say .050 to be safe. You rods won't compress as much as enlongate from RPM. Be carfull about changing the balance though. Take the same off all pistons.

I will just to stay consistant along all of them, I am also going to basically polish the edges on the throws that touch . its an eagle 3.562 for 5.7 rods and they basically lop the end of the counter weight off. well at the ends of where they cut the weight its the points that just touch. so if I just lightly take that portion off it will be minimal anyway.
I was figuring about .040 for clearance would be close, I'll shoot for as much as I can get obviously. Thanx,
