I'm sure this will sound stupid to some of you but I bought a set of J.E. pistons and there are a set of ring spacers. Where do they go? I don't have any instructions but I can't figure out where they go.

I assume that they go below the oil rings to support them on applications where the piston pin hole in the piston "interferes" with the oil ring groove in the piston. Often used on long connecting rod applications. (6" rod Chevy)

15a is right. also make sure if the spacer has a dimple to face that down and position it in the gap where the pin has cut into the ring land. this keeps the spacer from rotating.
