Need to know what is the best cam to run on a chevy 350 bored 30 over, but to stay close to stock pulling 15 lbs of vac between 800 and 1000 rpm. Any help with cam duration will help.

Do a search here on the forum for "cams" and see what you get. I bet about a zillion posts. Narrow the search down for exactally what you need to know. Hope you find you answers!

I used to run the same vacuum rules a few years ago and we tried about 6 different camshafts and the best one we found was a Comp Cams 12-238-2. It pulls about 16.5 to 17 inches of vacuum at 1000 rpm's with stock lifters. Alot of it depends on the other engine rules in your class, we had to run open chamber heads with a min. cc rule so we could not get too radical on the cam.
