i just recieved a set of 487x heads for free that are bolt on ready to go in stock trim and i have a set of 882's that have been milled 10 thousandths and been ported and polished both heads have .600 valve springs which will flow better dont know to much about the flow specs i WILL USE BOTH but out of curiosity which set will be better for my 9.1 motor with 500cfm carb? this is on my 5/16th's mile track...think i'll be in the gass for maybe 3 seconds before i'll glide into the corner..haha

Buddy you do realize you can't port or polish per your rules?

yea....LMAO but hey.....I wouldnt be the first to bend the rules lol!!!!

There will be a couple of shows where i am running aluminum heads and intake also...but this is only for a couple shows!!

I will probably use thew 487x heads with the .600 lift valve springs tho!!!!!

Your 487x heads are way better than the 882's in terms of port shape and chamber efficiency.
