I have the choice to run either--with an optional 2" spacer. I like the performance of the Bowtie, but hate bolting 41lbs onto the motor. Would the 2101 perform better at high rpms with the spacer? 355 flattop, 50cc humps, 508 cam, 750 fourbbl, turns around 7 grand

Jon, the 2101 with a one inch spacer still wont work well to the rpm you want. 5500 stock around 5800 with spacer.

the cast iron intakes runners are much larger, the wt is a huge difference though..

myself I would turn 6200-6500 max rpm with the alum intake and one inch open spacer. I also would get a 650 dp carb.

Running on pavement I ran 650/750/850 carbs and the best throttle response and fastest times were ran with the 650 at the above mentioned rpms.

Thanks Jeff! I probably should settle down those rpms anyway...I don't spend enough loot on the bottom end of my motors to spin them that hard anyway---but I do!
