my dad has a set of alum heads that are dated 6-24-59 with a part # of 377395. he said they 1 of 20 sets made. I thought he was full of it so he said for me to try and find some info on them. well I can't find anything at all. so my ? is does anyone know of these heads or any site I can look them up on. thanks

Smokey had some cast back about then, they were the casting as the old chevy powerpack heads, then he done some port work on them. NASCAR outlawed them cause they weren't a production head. They should take the old 13/16 plugs if they are smokeys. sleepy

Unless, they are olds heads, which were a production head back then, I can't rememeber the engine though. sleepy

from the outside they look like a 461, they have the 13/16 plug and round ext ports no hump marks on the head and if they were next to a 461 and the ext ports were coved and they were both painted black they would look the same.

Man talk about a set of cheater heads!
I bet you could getaway with running them for a long time...who's gonna check double hump type heads?

I don't think I'd race em. the collector value is probably out of sight,could get a mint for them if they are heads smokey had made.
