well here goes new track new motor new driver (ME) in street stock 355 4412 stock carb cast iron no high rise stock manifold intake and exhaust 487x heads flat top pistons hyd cam what cam to use and and how much compresion i should shoot for i know the limiting factor on this motor will probubly be the carb will be an ovel 1/2 mile. limeted to chevy rear gears will run a th350 in 2nd 373 rear gear with about 82 run out any help would be gerat thank for all you help in advance[IMG]-http://www.thedirtforum.com/ubb/smilies/cwm36.gif[/IMG]

I dont know an exact cam number for you. I'd prob try something like Comp Cams xtreme series hydraulic cam. They are a pretty radical cam and should work good as long as you put the right springs with them. If you have to run hyd definetly run the anti pump up lifters. Also if you can id look at running 1.6 rockers on the intake at least.

I think on a restricted engine like that compression is key. You will be limited due to stock heads and flat tops but try to get as much out of it as you can.
