this year they want us to have 20 inches of vaccum at 1000 rpm in a 305 or 302
i am running a 305 with flat tops 194 valves
with ported heads
i would like to run 440 lift cam with rhoads
lifters should i be able to get my vaccum

If you go with a 112 or 114 lobe seperation you can run up to 500 lift and pull 20 inches with rhoades lifters.

I am hot sure what my lobe seperation is
i can't find it on my cam card any way of finding out

If the intake and exhaust centerline is listed, you can add them together and divide by two to get your seperation.Ex. If your IC is 106 and EC is 106 =212 divided by 2=106 that would be your lobe seperation, this meens this cam was ground with no advance in it. If your cam is ground with 4* advance Ex IC 106 EC 114= 220 divided by 2=110 Lobe sep=110

thanks for info ic is 105 and ec is 115 so seperation must be 110 which should be fine for vaccum rule

No problem, you will be fine on vaccum with the rhodes lifters and that cam assuming its the 440 lift like you said in your first post.
