what is the norm for deck height on a 351w.It looks like its going to have to be zero on this motor. The left side is in about .002 and the right is in about .013.the 347 I was running was set at .010 down.been using a .039 head gasket that should still make the quench in range. If I remember right we want .040 to .060???????????????? any input.

i like all mine to be zero and i've ran them OUT of the hole up to .010".

as long as you have plenty of valve to piston clearance, go for it...

i used a small air to oil cooler mounted in front of the radiator. i've done it two different ways......i've used the factory ford sandwich adapter found on police cars and i've used a canton billet adapter that requires the oil filter to be relocated. that's a good move running an oil cooler with a 393. use at least a -10 line. try to keep the lines short and avoid 90 degree fittings where possible. keep it under 6500 and it should last all year, maybe two...
