19j, where are you at? If you live where there is an Ethanol processing plant near you you can sometimes buy straight ethanaol from there and then blend it yourself. But mind you if you do buy from an ethanol plant you may have to provide your own denaturant (additive) beause pure ethanol is drinkable.
You can search the web for info on the E85. 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. Or find out where you can get ahold of the Corn Growers Association in your state.

E85, or E98 is a very interesting animal. First, you DO NOT want to mix your own "blend" without lots of knowledge. The carburetor needs to be calibrated to fall somewhere halfway between a Gasoline and a Methanol carb. Jetting, cooling, etc. are all variable based upon quality of fuel, and percentages of mix.

On the plus side, E85 can make good power in a limited engine if done right. In Minnesota and Wisconsin, the WISSOTA Midwest Modified class is having pretty good luck with E85. The Minnesota Corn Growers Association has gotten involved with helping this application. Do a search for both of the above organizations and you should find some info.
