what is the diff. pros and cons between 355 cu motor and a 377 motor and going from 355 to 377 do you need to change gears i turn my 355 7000 rpm can i turn that in a 377 thanks guys

pros for the 377: more power, better breathing from the larger bores

cons: If you are using a stock block you need a good 400 core, which are getting hard to find.

Id prob start with the same gear. You should be able to turn it the same rpm if it is built the same quality.

377 must not be anygood not very many people run them i guess.. oh well thanks anyways

There is alot of 377s out there.There a real good engine.

i agree 377 is a great engine. In fact that would be my preference for most track conditions. But like i said you have to have a good block, especially at high HP or rpm levels.

i hear a lot of guys are using the 327 cranks in the 400's!
