I am helping a friend with his pure stock car. We are getting ready to put his engine together, rules require everyone to use the same cam. +/- 2% for different brands.
In dur @ .050" 204deg.
Exh Dur @ .050" 214deg.
In Lift .420
Exh Lift .443
lobe seperation 112deg.
adv In Dur.278deg.
adv exh dur 288deg.
I was wondering pros and cons to using 1.6 rockers with this cam.
engine is a 355, pretty much stock with a quadajet carb.
Could I make the cam "act" bigger with these 1.6 rockers, I really don't want to grind on the push rod holes in the heads.
What effects should I expect.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I run a 1/4 mile track and ran 1.6 rockers at the start of the season because I already hd a set , but when I switched to 1.5 the car was much better coming out of the turns. I ran a midwest motorsports 1 cam and I run asphalt.
