I need to know if someone can teel me the best oem intake for 351w, would the mid
80s h.o. intakes be the best or try and find
one off of a police car like a 2bbl aluminum. or would the cast 4bbl be better.

the best production cast iron 351w intake is the '69-'70 4 bbl. it has 8 bolt holes per side unlike the later model HO intake which only has 6 holes per side.

there is a rare and expensive factory 4 bbl. aluminum intake. it is the C9OX manifold also know as the "buddy bar" intake. i believe it was on shelby's and a dealer option on mustangs back in '69-'70. expect to pay at least $200 for one if you can find it.

what about the 2bl intake? does the early intake with the extra bolt holes flow better than a mid to late 70s intake? i'm thinking of running in 2bl class next year.
