I already built my engine i was planning on running next year and guess what it's stroked, is there anyway around the cubic inch measuring device. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I read somewhere one time, that an old racer used to stuff cigarettes down the cylinders through the spark plug holes so the tester would read smaller cubic inches.
Might just buy you a box of camels.

I don't have an answer or solution to your dilemma, but feel for you. Here's another example of stupid promoters making major changes to the rules without thinking it through from the driver's perspective. It would have been better to anounce the rule change now to become effective for the 2006 season. The same thing happened where I used to race street stocks, and it really ***** for the guys that built a new motor toward the end of the season to the rules that were in effect at the time. This would be a great topic for discussion- on its own. I'm sure there are others racers at your track negatively impacted by this decision, why don't you all get together and discuss the situation with the promoter. You've got nothing to lose. Maybe he'll listen and extend the deadline. Good luck!
